From the in-depth study of chemistry and production techniques. From the careful research of excellent raw materials. Also after years of tests and experiments; based on all reviews of our most demanding customers, SWING cue tips are born.
SWING the cue tip are conceived as a fundamental and integral part of billiards, taking into account its main function: To establish a direct connection between the player and the cue ball that hit. Like car tires, it must convey a feeling of safety to the driver, who perceives adherence to the road, so the tip must allow the player to "feel" as if he would be touching with his finger the point where he hits. SWING cue tip contains all this in its 14mm of diameter and 100% is done in our workshop in Italy.
MORE STABILITY LESS MAINTENANCE
The stiffest structure allows SWING to keep their characteristics unchanged over time.
MORE GRIP LESS HARDNESS
The innovative production process allows the combination of the advantages of softer hardness with the advantages of harder hardness
MORE THRUST LESS EFFORT
High sensitivity of play and high elasticity offer more thrust with less effort and keep the same grip of a softer hardness
SWING cue tips are made of 8 layers of italian premium pigskin leather. We are focused on offering the player safety, reliability and consistency. Due to fact that a lower tip will play better than a higher one.
The innovative production process allows to enclose these three characteristics in the SWING cue tips which are fundamental for excellent quality.
To obtain the different hardnesses, the SWING cue tips are subjected to special controlled processes that increase the density of the leathers without, proportionally, increasing its hardness and without compromising the porosity. The increase in density corresponds to an increase in the thrust that the tip can give to the cue ball. The lower hardness allows to, considerably, increase the spin transfered to the cue ball and allows the tip to keep a greater quantity of chalk on the surface.
SWING HARDNESS DETECTOR
How many times have we been comfortable with a tip but when it came time to change it, we didn't remember its
hardness?
At SWING cue tip, we have thought about it…. and we've found a solution! All SWING tips are equipped with a hardness detector. Each hardness corresponds to the color of its first layer!
